King Charles strips 9 people of MBEs including Hampshire man
Gosport-based Graham Trewhella was awarded an MBE in December 2009 - but this has now been removed following his criminal conviction in 2021.
He was prosecuted after being caught by a paedophile hunter group named Trap.
Members had communicated with Trewhella posing as a 14-year-old boy he agreed to meet with to have sex.
A notice published in the London Gazette read: "THE KING has directed that the appointment of Graham Gilbey TREWHELLA to be a Member of the Military Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, dated 31 December 2009, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order."

Why was Graham Trewhella stripped of his MBE?
Trewhella admitted attempting to arrange or facilitate a child sex offence, attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, and three charges of making indecent images in 2021.
In 2017, Trewhella was ensnared by the paedophile hunter group Trap, who had been posing as a 14-year-old boy called 'George' on Grindr.

Portsmouth Crown Court heard that Trewhella went to meet him despite it being made clear by 'George' what his age was.
Members of Trap then confronted Trewhella, who was seen in a video posted to their Facebook page.
Trewhella claimed he had come to watch some fireworks, but his actions were described by the Trap member as "absolutely disgraceful".
The man posing as 'George' added: "You’ve thrown away your life."
