MANILA, Philippines — A resolution asking appropriate House panels to check on the feasibility of a telecommuting system and other flexible work arrangements amid a surge in fuel prices has been filed by Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos. In a statement on Monday, Marcos confirmed that he has filed House Resolution No. 885, asking the House committee on labor and employment and the committee on trade and industry to conduct a joint inquiry on the implementation of Republic Act No. 11165 or the Telecommuting Act.
