GAA club celebrates Michael Furlong’s contribution to Wexford football

Photo: Jim CampbellMembers of Adamstown GAA club gathered in Foley’s Bar, Newbawn, to acknowledge and celebrate the inter-county football career of one of its own, Michael Furlong. Michael retired from the county scene at the start of this year, after 13 years of active service during which he made 96 competitive appearances in the purple and gold, serving under eight different managers.
