Lotto bosses reveal shops where six-figure winning EuroMillions tickets sold as urgent appeal issued
The search is on to find Ireland's latest Lotto winners after two lucky punters scooped life-changing prizes worth hundreds of thousands of euros in Friday's EuroMillions draws.EuroMillions players across Ireland are being urged to check their tickets after more than 67,000 people here won prizes in last night's draws.The biggest Irish winner in last night's draw was a lucky punter in Co Dublin who scooped the €500,000 jackpot up for grabs in the EuroMillions Plus draw.The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers for Friday’s (February 20) draw were: 02, 12, 26, 28, 41.The National Lottery has revealed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday (February 19) at the Centra Drumcondra store at 32-38 Lower Drumcondra Road in Dublin 9.The win marks the third huge EuroMillions win for a Dublin player in the past week. Tuesday’s draw saw a player in the Dublin 24 area scoop €500,000 after purchasing their ticket at Dunnes Stores in the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght.Meanwhile a EuroMillions player in Dublin got their weekend off to a great start last Friday (February 13) after winning €1,005,000 in the special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle.This latest Dublin winner wasn't the only Irish punter celebrating after last night's EuroMillions draw as a player in Cork matched five numbers and one lucky star to win an incredible €161,198.The Cork player came agonisingly close to scooping the €130 million jackpot, missing out on the jaw-dropping top prize by just one correct number.But they still have plenty of reason to celebrate after bagging the life-changing six-figure sum after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Mace Sallybrook in Glanmire, Co. Cork.The National Lottery is now urging EuroMillions players in Cork and Dublin to check their tickets carefully to see if they have landed a huge prize.National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr had the following advice for players: “Over the past week, EuroMillions players in Dublin have enjoyed incredible wins. A player in Drumcondra got their weekend started in style after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s draw. Just days earlier, a player in Tallaght won €500,000 in Tuesday’s Plus draw while last Friday 13th February, another Drumcondra player won €1,005,000 in the special Ireland Only Raffle.”“A Cork player also had plenty to celebrate on Friday night after matching five numbers and one lucky star to win €161,198 in the main draw."The biggest winners of the night are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe.
