AnimeJapan returns to Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29, 2026. Doors open at 9:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM each day. More than 120 booths showcase the biggest studios such as Aniplex, Toei Animation, MAPPA and Netflix. Fans can explore new anime announcements, live performances and exclusive merchandise.
The public days attracted over 150,000 visitors in 2025, and the organizers expect a larger crowd this year. If you want to be part of the excitement, start planning your visit now.
Stage Lineup
Red, Green, Blue and White Stages
Four main stages host panels, cast talks and surprise reveals. The full English timetable is available on the official website. Each stage offers a different mix of content, from new series launches to creator interviews. Remember that seats are assigned by lottery, so you will need AnimeJapan 2026 tickets that include the stage lottery entry.
Live Performances and Cosplay
Cosplayer’s World returns with a first‑ever Cosplay Dance Entertainment Festival. Teams will compete from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on both days. You can also snap photos at the official backdrop or join the Cosplay Gathering to meet fellow fans.
Hands‑On Activities
The Production Works Gallery lets you learn how anime is made. This year the booth focuses on the role of the producer. You can take quizzes, watch interviews and try interactive stations.
Family Anime Festa runs alongside the main event in the South Exhibition Hall 1. It offers kid‑friendly booths, a family stage, character meet‑and‑greets and workshops. Strollers are welcome and changing rooms are provided.
Food, Games and Souvenirs
Food Park offers a variety of Japanese snacks and drinks. The AJ Digital Stamprally lets you collect digital stamps for prizes. The official merchandise area sells limited edition illustrations, collectibles and apparel tied to the featured series.
How to Get AnimeJapan 2026 Tickets
International ticket sales are open now. Purchase your tickets through the AnimeJapan site or Trip.com between January 16 and February 24. Choose the option that includes the stage lottery if you want a chance to sit near the panels.
Tokyo Otaku Mode and AnimeJapan are also running a giveaway for three lucky pairs. The prize grants two general admission tickets, but it does not cover the stage lottery.
