Travel company owner 'absolutely delighted' after trio of awards
Stubborn Mule Travel, based in Clopton Park near Woodbridge, was recognised in the inaugural Junior Travel Awards, taking home gold for Best Adventure Holiday and joint gold for Best Bespoke Family Travel Company, as well as silver for Best Family Safari.
The awards, launched by family lifestyle publication Junior magazine, celebrate the best brands and experiences in family travel.
Founder Liddy Pleasants said: "We’re absolutely delighted to have won three accolades in these brand new awards from Junior Magazine – it’s all down to the brilliant holidays that our team create for each individual family that travels with us, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone!"

Each trip is personalised based on the ages, interests, and needs of each family, balancing adventure with relaxation.
The judges praised the company’s wide range of activities, from diving and rafting to exploring markets and ruins, noting that every itinerary is meticulously planned and every detail is taken care of.
The company’s safari offering was also recognised, with judges praising its Tanzanian safari and beach experience in Zanzibar.
