Olmsted Falls, OH - The Ohio State Highway Patrol shared a video of troopers saving a dog that was stranded on the turnpike on Jan. 13.According to the social media post, OSHP troopers from the Milan Post responded to a call about a dog trapped along the median on I-80 in Olmsted Falls in Cuyahoga County.When troopers arrived, they found the dog and gently secured it with a leash and convinced her to hop into the backseat.The post said the dog was extremely sweet and is now named Freckles.Freckles snuggled up in the backseat of the Patrol car and was brought to the Lorain County Humane Society to receive care and attention.She was adopted the first day she was available and is now living happily in her fur-ever home.
