US shoots down Iranian drone ‘aggressively’ approaching aircraft carrier
US Central Command says an American fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone which was “aggressively” approaching the USS Abraham Lincoln – which has been deployed to the Arabian Sea.
The aircraft carrier was about 500 miles from Iran’s southern coast at the time.
