'Picture-perfect rural escape' named UK's top holiday home - and its only 1 hour away
Bodcott - shepherd’s hut set in the Herefordshire countryside - has been named as one of the most sought-after holiday homes in the UK.
Holiday Cottages rated the holiday home near Pembridge as second on its sought-after list, with No. 1 in Brude, Cornwall, taking the top spot.
The holiday letting site described Bodcott as a "picture-perfect rural escape" that also comes with a "wonderful summer house" alongside the hut.
It also comes with a detached sauna and a fire pit for cooking and toasting marshmallows.
Sarah Pring, digital PR manager of Holiday Cottages, said: “This year’s list showcases the incredible diversity found across the UK’s staycation market, proving there’s something to inspire every type of holidaymaker.
"Whether it’s a dreamy view, exceptional comfort, or unique design, each home on this list has a special quality that keeps guests coming back for more.
