New Releases on Netflix This Week and Top 10 Movies & Series: January 30th, 2025

Picture Credit: A24 While Bridgerton ultimately was the big showstopper for Netflix this week, there were 50 new arrivals throughout the week on Netflix in the United States. We’re now here to recap all of them as well as dive into the weekly top 10s for the US, which saw both The Rip and HIS & HERS retain their respective grips on their top 10 lists. Here’s everything new streaming on Netflix for the week ending January 30th, 2026. It’s going to be a busy weekend of new releases with the first of the month landing on a Sunday this year. Lots of older and newer movies are scheduled to drop, plus new seasons of fan-favorites Heartland and The Way Home. You can find our updated list of everything we know coming up throughout February here.  What to Watch on Netflix This Weekend For this week’s recommendations, we’re going to assume you’ve already smashed through all four episodes of Bridgerton season 4 and are patiently waiting for part 2 at the end of next month!  20th Century Women (2016) Rating: RLanguage: EnglishGenre: Comedy, DramaDirector: Mike MillsCast: Annette Bening, Elle Fanning, Greta GerwigWriter: Mike MillsRuntime: 119 min / 1h 59m The slow trickle of A24 movies on and off Netflix continues, with 20th Century Women as a surprise re-addition, its last appearance just over 6 years ago. The cast is the biggest reason to check this out, with some sublime performances, and the movie also notably picked up an Oscar nomination.  Written and directed by Mike Mills (Beginners, C’mon C’mon), the film is a semi-autobiographical love letter to his mother. The story centers on Dorothea Fields (Annette Bening), a 55-year-old single mother raising her teenage son, Jamie (Lucas Jade Zumann), amid cultural change in California in the late 1970s.  Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight (2024) Rating: RLanguage: EnglishGenre: Drama, WarDirector: Embeth DavidtzCast: Embeth Davidtz, Andreas Damm, Zikhona BaliWriter: Embeth Davidtz, Alexandra FullerRuntime: 99 min / 1h 39m Making its streaming premiere on Netflix this week is Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight, a movie from Sony Pictures Classics. The coming-of-age drama sees eight-year-old Bobo make sense of life on her family’s Rhodesian farm as civil war and political upheaval sweep through what will become Zimbabwe, all seen through her curious, unfiltered eyes, as love, loss, and the legacies of conflict reshape her world. It picked up rave reviews and at one point was pointed to as a potential awards contender throughout the season, although it’s ultimately come up short thus far. Still, very much worthy of your attention, The Gangnam Project (Season 1) Number of episodes: 10Rating: TV-PGLanguage: KoreanGenre: Action, Comedy, DramaCast: Julia Kim Caldwell, Paul Seungbin Lee, Joshua Hyunho Lee The world of KPop has been steadily growing in popularity for years now, but it really wasn’t until KPOP Demon Hunters that the genre was felt globally as a cultural juggernaut. Hoping to capitalize on and expand that trend for a young audience is this Canadian series, which first aired on CBC Gem in 2024 and debuts on Netflix this week.  Julia Kim Caldwell, Taran Kim, Dale Yim, Katie Griffin, and Brianna Kim are among the cast of the show, which follows a Korean-Canadian teen who starts tutoring trainees at a K-pop agency in Seoul. As her dreams of stardom grow closer, does she have what it takes?  The series has positive reviews from audiences, and it’s now time to shine on a global stage. Just a caution: this does skew younger than the likes of Finding Her Edge, which dropped last week.  Full List of New Releases Added to Netflix US This Week 13 New Movies Added This Week 20th Century Women (2016) – R – English 96 Minutes (2025) – TV-14 – Mandarin A Letter To My Youth (2026) Netflix Original – TV-14 – Indonesian Champion (2025) – TV-14 – Telugu Deaw Still Alive (2026) – TV-MA – Thai Dhurandhar (2015) – TV-MA – Marathi Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight (2024) – R – English Eleanor the Great (2025) – PG-13 – English M3GAN 2.0 (2025) – PG-13 – English Mike Epps: Delusional (2026) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English Miracle: The Boys of ’80 (2026) Netflix Original – TV-14 – English Obvious Child (2014) – R – English Skyscraper Live (2026) Netflix Original – TV-PG – English 37 New TV Series Added This Week Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre (Season 2) – TV-MA – Yoruba Behind the Bastards (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English Bridgerton (Season 4 – Part 1) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English Bridgerton: The Official Podcast (Season 1) Netflix Original – TV-14 – English Buried Bones – a historical true crime podcast with Kate Winkler Dawson and Paul Holes (Season 1) – TV-MA – English Conspiracy Theories (Seasons 1-2) – TV-14 – English Dear Chelsea (Season 1) – TV-MA – English Dissect (Season 1) – TV-MA – English Encounter (Limited Series) – TV-14 – Korean Fairway Rollin’ (Season 1) – – English Joe and Jada (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English Killer Stories (Season 1) – TV-MA – English Last Podcast on the Left (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English Murder with My Husband (Seasons 1-2) – TV-14 – English My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English My Sesame Street Friends: My Sesame Music (Season 1) – TV-Y – English New Rory & MAL (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English Recipe Club (Season 1) – TV-14 – English Skip Intro (Season 1) Netflix Original – TV-14 – English Small Town Murder (Season 1 – New Episodes Weekly) – TV-MA – English STASSI with Tay (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know (Season 1) – TV-MA – English Stuff To Blow Your Mind (Season 1) – TV-14 – English Stuff You Missed in History Class (Season 1) – TV-14 – English Take That (Limited Series) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English The Big Picture (Season 1) – TV-MA – English The BobbyCast (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English The Breakfast Club (Season 1 ) – TV-MA – English The Dave Chang Show (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English The Gangnam Project (Season 1) – TV-PG – Korean The Lady in Dignity (Limited Series) – TV-MA – Korean The Mismatch (Season 1) – TV-MA – English The Pete Davidson Show (Season 1 – New Episodes Weekly) Netflix Original – TV-MA – English The Psychology of your 20s (Season 1) – TV-MA – English The Rewatchables (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English This Is Important (Seasons 1-2) – TV-MA – English timelesz project -REAL- (Season 1) – TV-PG – Japanese Most Popular Movies on Netflix US This Week THE RIP. The James Bond movies, which all dropped last week after a slight delay, feature throughout the top 10s, with the newer movies doing the best business on Netflix, with No Time to Die naturally picking up the biggest haul of points.  The Rip (74 points) Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart (70 points) No Time to Die (54 points) People We Meet on Vacation (43 points) Secret Mall Apartment (40 points) M3GAN 2.0 (40 points) KPop Demon Hunters (37 points) Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story (29 points) Spectre (22 points) Eleanor the Great (11 points) Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (8 points) Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story (7 points) The Royal We (2 points) Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight (2 points) Skyfall (1 point) Most Popular Series on Netflix US This Week Picture Credit: Netflix HIS & HERS is on a rampage in the US top 10s, still now several weeks after releasing, and is currently eying a spot on Netflix’s all-time top 10 list. It picked up a solid haul of points, suggesting more people are falling in love with the twisty thriller. Elsewhere, lots of rotation again in the rest of the TV top 10s with Skyscraper LIVE surprisingly still scoring well on points despite the live event being long over, suggesting that some live events do have replayability, something we haven’t seen so much with the boxing events.  HIS & HERS (75 points) Free Bert (65 points) Finding Her Edge (52 points) Skyscraper Live (34 points) Mike Epps: Delusional (29 points) Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (29 points) Star Search (26 points) Sandokan (24 points) 11.22.63 (22 points) Raw (16 points) Marcello Hernández: American Boy (14 points) Bridgerton (12 points) Southland (11 points) Queer Eye (10 points) Star Search (8 points) Sandokan: The Pirate Prince (5 points) Star Search (4 points) Stranger Things (3 points) Single’s Inferno (1 point) What are you watching on Netflix this weekend?
