Gemma Atkinson has told how she has received messages from 'snide' men on social media who claimed her Mancunian accent made her unattractive.The former Hollyoaks actress, 41, hails from Bury, Greater Manchester, and lives in the city with her Strictly dancer partner Gorka Marquez, 35, and their two children Mia, six, and Thiago, three.     On this week's episode of their podcast Lost in Translation, Gemma said: 'People used to message me and say, "You're really really fit until you start talking but we just can't deal with your accent". 'And I used to think, "Well you're not fit with or without talking". I used to think, "How snide. You've not even spoken and you're not attractive".'  Spanish dancer Gorka sweetly admitted Gemma's accent is one of is favourite things about the soap star, adding: 'I love it. I find it very cute when you speak like that. It's one of the things that attracts me to you.'The presenter then jokingly responded: 'I'm glad that you find it attractive, because that's all that matters right. You and Tom Hardy, no one else needs to.'
