Three Limerick restaurants nominated for Just Eat awards

The Spitjack, Locke Burger, and DOH Proper Pizza have all secured spots on the national shortlist, competing against 105 restaurants across Ireland.  This year, the overall 'Independent Restaurant of the Year' will walk away with a €100,000 prize fund.  The Spitjack has been nominated for Best Lunch, Locke Burger for Best Burger & American and DOH Pizza for Best Pizza. The prize fund will be allocated toward marketing, promotions, and media value. Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director at Just Eat Ireland, said, "The Just Eat Awards are about recognising independent restaurants that people genuinely love and rely on in their communities, including the three fantastic restaurants in Limerick that have been nominated." The power to bring the title to Limerick lies with the public. Voting is officially open and will remain so until 23:59 on February 8th. Every person who casts a vote is automatically entered into a draw to win Free Just Eat for a Year.
