Guaranteed Irish launches GAA-focused Community Rewards Campaign
Guaranteed Irish has launched a new sponsorship and community rewards initiative aimed at mobilising its member businesses’ existing links with the GAA, under the banner Are You in the Guaranteed Irish Club?
The nationwide campaign calls on Guaranteed Irish members who are actively involved in their local GAA club, team or county setup to participate in a structured recognition programme designed to reward community-based sponsorship and grassroots investment.
As part of the initiative, four Guaranteed Irish member businesses will each secure €5,000 in funding for their chosen GAA club, alongside a dedicated gift for the club’s under-14 team and an exclusive photocall at Croke Park.
The campaign reflects Guaranteed Irish’s broader strategy of recognising businesses that embed social impact alongside commercial activity, with the GAA identified as a natural partner given its central role in Ireland’s sporting, social and cultural fabric.
Speaking at the launch, Bríd O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish, said the initiative was designed to spotlight businesses already contributing at the grassroots level.
“Are You in the Guaranteed Irish Club? is about recognising businesses that go beyond commerce and play an active role in strengthening their local communities,” she said.
“Many of our members are already deeply involved with GAA clubs across the country, and this initiative is our way of rewarding that commitment.”
The programme’s commercial relevance is underpinned by research from KPMG, published in 2025, which estimates that Guaranteed Irish member businesses collectively contribute €59.3 million annually to social value initiatives. The data highlights the scale of community-focused investment already taking place across the Guaranteed Irish network.
Guaranteed Irish membership is assessed across three core pillars — jobs, community and provenance — and is open to both Irish-owned and international companies operating in Ireland that meet the criteria. The organisation positions its mark as a signal of trust, helping consumers identify businesses that deliver positive economic and social impact locally.
Welcoming the initiative, Jarlath Burns, Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael, highlighted the alignment between both organisations.
“The GAA is built on local pride and community spirit, and that closely reflects the values of Guaranteed Irish,” he said. “This initiative shines a light on businesses that support their local clubs and invest in the wellbeing of their communities.”
Guaranteed Irish member businesses currently involved with a local GAA club, team or county are now invited to apply, with the campaign designed to grow visibility around grassroots sponsorship while reinforcing the commercial value of community-led investment.
