Fire volunteer sues Marikina cop for allegedly blocking truck, berating him
MANILA, Philippines — A fire volunteer administratively sued a Marikina City police officer before the National Police Commission (Napolcom) for supposedly blocking his truck and berating him, as caught in a viral video. In a statement on Monday, Napolcom identified the complainant as Pasig City fire volunteer Earl Joseph Lantin, who filed the complaint at the Napolcom Inspection, Monitoring and Investigation Service (IMIS). The respondent was a police staff sergeant.
