Two men arrested in relation to thefts following search of properties in Carlow and Dublin
Two men have been arrested, and five premises in Dublin and Carlow have been searched as part of an operation targeting burglaries.
The investigation looked into more than 40 incidents, including thefts, deception and unauthorised takings of vehicles, across the country last year.
Five premises were searched in the Dublin and Carlow Regions and two men have been arrested. These searches were conducted by members attached to the DMR South Central Crime Task Force.
The men, both aged in their 20s, are currently detained under the provisions of Section 50 Criminal Justice Act 2007 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
