Voting opens to find Gosport's favourite independent businesses

Gosport Borough Council has launched the competition to recognise small businesses that contribute to the town's character and economy, defined as firms with fewer than 50 employees and a turnover of less than £10 million. "By voting for their favourite local independent business, which plays such a vital role in Gosport’s economy and character, bringing originality, resilience and a personal touch to our community, residents can help recognise the passion and hard work that goes into keeping these businesses thriving." The 10 businesses with the most votes will be invited to a celebration event on March 5. Voting closes at 5pm on February 13. Votes can be cast via the council’s online form.
