Aimee Lou Wood has been congratulated by her Sex Education co-star Gillian Anderson after bagging a nomination at the SAG Awards.The actress, 31, has been nominated for Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Drama Series at this year's SAG Awards, recently renamed The Actor Awards. Aimee received the nod for her portrayal of Chelsea in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus.Her breakout role however was on Netflix's series Sex Education back in 2019 as Aimee Gibbs, where she starred alongside The X-Files star Gillian. Celebrating her former co-star, Gillian took to Instagram on Wednesday to share an array of selfies of her and Aimee. The host for the 2026 Actor Awards has yet to be announced; Kristen Bell hosted last year.Harrison Ford will receive the 2026 SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.Presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and voted on by the guild's 160,000-plus members, the Actor Awards give an accurate window into what the largest branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences — the actors — is leaning toward in award season.
