Netflix has left subscribers bitterly disappointed after it appeared that several popular shows will not be retuning for 2026.Wednesday and Ginny & Georgia were among the titles missing from the streaming giant's slate announcement for the year, which was shared January 7.While season two of Wednesday arrived in August 2025, many were hoping that Jenna Ortega and the rest of the Addams family would soon be back on screens.Similarly, Ginny & Georgia aired its third season last June. The comedy drama, which stars Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, was previously renewed for a third and fourth series in 2023.Ransom Canyon, which aired its first season last April, also didn't get a mention alongside fellow newcomers Untamed and Forever. Netflix stated that its 2026 slate is not comprehensive to all titles launching this year and that select title announcements will come later.However, frustrated fans were disheartened by the lack of update on the two shows and complained on social media.Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one said: 'So sick of the insane wait time for new seasons.' Wednesday has not been named in Netflix's 2026 slate Ginny & Georgia fans are disappointed that the title has also been left out 'Netflix is sticking with the two-year gap between seasons... Let's see how this works out for them,' added another. 'Ginny & Georgia only in 2027 then?' asked a third as they then referenced one of the character's who is meant to be nine years old. 'At this rate, Austin will be 30 years old when the series ends.''Not sure what about Ginny & Georgia takes so long to shoot and release,' added a fourth. 'Jenna Ortega's gonna be like 30 when this show finally ends lol,' another said of Wednesday. In response to the slate, one wrote, in part: 'I really should cancel my Netflix.'Despite missing popular titles, Netflix has confirmed the return of other huge titles.Bridgerton will be returning for its fourth season with part one set to launch on January 29 with part two dropping on February 26.This time around, the drama turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (played by Luke Thompson). While a date has not yet been announced, Avatar: The Last Airbender season two will launch in 2026.
