Netflix has left subscribers bitterly disappointed after it appeared that several popular shows will not be retuning for 2026.Wednesday and Ginny & Georgia were among the titles missing from the streaming giant's slate announcement for the year, which was shared January 7.While season two of Wednesday arrived in August 2025, many were hoping that Jenna Ortega and the rest of the Addams family would soon be back on screens.Similarly, Ginny & Georgia aired its third season last June. The comedy drama, which stars Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, was previously renewed for a third and fourth series in 2023.Ransom Canyon, which aired its first season last April, also didn't get a mention alongside fellow newcomers Untamed and Forever. Netflix stated that its 2026 slate is not comprehensive to all titles launching this year and that select title announcements will come later.However, frustrated fans were disheartened by the lack of update on the two shows and complained on social media.Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one said: 'So sick of the insane wait time for new seasons.'
