Monkey gets loose and destroys guitars through Tennessee music store
A loose monkey in Tennessee was finally captured after finding a home in a music store and wrecking instruments. The Cinnamon Capuchin monkey rampaged through Trade Center, a musical instrument store, on Sunday morning before being captured by a heroic local. After dodging animal control, the Morristown Police Department were called to the store at around 8am in hopes of capturing the animal. The police department said that though the animal escaped the music store, it was later captured at a different location at around 6pm, WSMV reported. According to the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce, local Adam Ivy came across the animal and fed it water and snacks until law enforcement arrived. Trade Center posted a series of sweet photos of the monkey in the store, including it holding someone's finger, eating crackers and roaming the store. 'Just a little monkey business going on here today at the Trade Center,' the store posted on Facebook. 'Cleaning up the aftermath from our unexpected visitor last night!'The store commented on the post that the monkey got into the store in the middle of the night through a 'small pet door' and 'made himself at home.' The police and animal control were called to the Trade Center to take the monkey and find its rightful owners,' they continued. 'During their visit, the monkey escaped from animal control and from what we read on the news later, it was found safe. Definitely not what you expect to see and we wish the best for the little guy!'RooFeathers Farm posted a series of photos and videos reaching out for help to find a stolen 'beloved' capuchin eight-year-old monkey named Chester. 'Someone broke into my place last night and stole our beloved capuchin monkey his name is Chester and he was 8 years old any help would be appreciated,' the farm posted on Facebook. The Morristown Police Department said that they are investigating.
