Free train rides help LGBTQIA+ riders feel ‘seen, validated’
MANILA, Philippines — Some members of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual) community said that they feel “seen” and “valid” after availing the free rides on the Metro Rail Transit 3, and Light Rail Transit 1 and 2 dedicated for them and solo parents on Monday.
