KHRN: Iran executes two men convicted on drug-related charges in Karaj
Iranian authorities have executed two prisoners on drug-related charges at Karaj Central Prison in Alborz Province.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Ali Eytivandi and Kiyoumars Bahrami were executed on the night of 13 December without being allowed a final visit with their families.
The two men were originally from the village of Sorkheh Mehr in Kuhdasht in Lorestan Province and were living in Karaj at the time of their arrests.
Eytivandi was detained around one and a half years ago and Bahrami four years ago, and they were both sentenced to death for drug-related charges.
