The Next Steven Spielberg Movie Has a Poster to Disclose
Amblin Entertainment wants everyone to have eyes on the next big movie from Steven Spielberg. You’ve probably seen posts online recently of a poster with an eye looking between a creature’s fingers and the tagline “All will be disclosed. Spielberg. 6.12.” The mystery of it all has garnered some excitement for the filmmaker’s return to sci-fi, and on Friday night, Amblin shared an Instagram post features “confirmed sightings,” along with a series of coordinates. A coordinate tracker reveals these posters have been put up in North La Cienega Blvd. and South Figueroa St. over in LA, East Randol Mill in Arlington, TX, and Times Square in New York. At time of writing, no one’s posted anything about anything further like a video billboard in Times Square, a statue in the middle of the street, or anything like that. Amblin’s been equally mum. Details on the film have been so secretive that we don’t even know what it’s called, though rumors suggest it’ll ultimately be Disclosure, which the tagline hints at. What is known is it’s got a stacked cast: Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, and Colman Domingo are among those featured, and it’s a UFO movie based on an original idea Spielberg cooked up with screenwriter David Koepp. In October, we learned this film will reunite the director with composer John Williams, marking their 30th collaboration together following The Fablemans, Jurassic Park, E.T., and a lot more movies.
We’ll have more on this film, including its name, as information comes out ahead of its June 12, 2026 release. A trailer is reportedly expected ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash. Want more io9 news?
