These are the most exciting new Porsche models coming before 2030

Porsche will release a plethora of new electric models over the next few years, as well as some clever new tech which could save petrol-engined sports cars. Here’s everything you can expect to see before 2030. Porsche has had a busy 2025. This year it launched the new 911 Turbo S and the all-electric Cayenne, and next year there are more exciting models to look forward to. The Cayman and Boxster are both going electric, and the Macan Electric GTS will also go on sale in 2026. Before the end of the decade Porsche could also launch a revolutionary new engine for its future sports cars. Remember, you can buy a brand new or used car right here on Carwow. And you can sell your car, too. We’re here to help you through every step of your car-changing journey. New Porsche Boxster and Cayman EVs New Porsche Boxster EV prototype front The current Porsche Boxster and Cayman have both gone off sale, and while we’re mourning the loss of these fantastic sports cars Porsche is hard at work developing all-electric replacements. Technical details are still thin on the ground, but these electric sports cars could use one of the 435hp motors from the Mission R concept, as well as a mid-mounted battery pack for better weight distribution. But petrolheads needn’t worry. In September Porsche reversed its hard swap to electric power for these cars, announcing that petrol versions of future Boxsters and Caymans will also be available. New Porsche Cayenne EV This is the new electric Porsche Cayenne, and it can accelerate just as quickly as a 911 Turbo S. This is thanks to a 1,156hp dual-motor setup, but you can also opt for a less powerful version which will do up to 398 miles on a charge. New Porsche 911 Turbo S 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S front static This is the new Porsche 911 Turbo S, and it’s the most powerful 911 Porsche has ever made. The old one was no slouch, but now that twin-turbocharged flat six engine puts out 711hp thanks to a new hybrid system. The result is 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than the outgoing Turbo S, and there have also been some suspension tweaks to make it feel even more agile than before. New Porsche six-stroke engine The future of the internal combustion engine has been in doubt for the past few years as we move towards cleaner and greener electric cars. However, Porsche is working on something which could save the petrol engine for years to come. Back in 2024 it filed a patent for a six-stroke engine. You can read about this more in-depth in our story, but in short it runs cleaner and more efficiently by scavenging unburnt fuel left behind in the cylinders. Combine this with Porsche’s investment in synthetic fuels, and the next 911 could still be using petrol engines well into the 2030s. Car change? Carwow! Looking for a new set of wheels?
