Some showers will turn heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder. The best of those sunny spells will be in the east. Feeling chilly today too, with highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in moderate southwest winds, fresher near coasts."Tonight, then will see a mix of cloudy conditions and clearer spells, with scattered showers or longer spells of rain. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees, with light to moderate south to southwest winds."Low pressure is expected to dominate for the next 10 days or so, with no sign of snow and milder temperatures than usual for this time of year. Indications are uncertain for later in the month.Tomorrow should be a calmer day, with just showers forecast in temperatures of between 7C and 11C.Met Eireann said: "Wednesday will start off dry for most, with isolated showers with sunny spells further east at first. Early on, cloud will build from the west and spread eastwards with rain and drizzle becoming widespread come the afternoon.
