(Image: Getty Images)A 14 year old mother has been charged with murder following the discovery of a dead baby in Livingston Parish, according to law enforcement.The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office has reported that the teenager faces several charges, including first-degree murder. The investigation began on Friday, November 21, when deputies were summoned to a hospital regarding a young girl seeking medical attention after giving birth at home in Louisiana.Upon arrival at the Denham Springs property, the LPSO stated that they discovered the young girl had given birth and concealed the baby in a "tote." Emergency services found the baby deceased inside the "tote," as per the authorities' report, reports the Mirror US."Medical personnel believe the infant was carried to full term, born alive, and killed immediately after birth," declared Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard. "It is believed the teen did conceal her pregnancy from family."Initially, the teenager was accused of obstructing justice and failing to seek assistance in relation to her newborn's death. The remains were found nestled between two buildings in the Bay View Houses on 102nd Street around 11 am on Thursday.The grim discovery of the foetus in a rubbish bag was made by a NYCHA employee who was clearing leaves and debris from the property, according to police sources."I saw the whole crime scene unit. It's crazy. Lisa Deroche, another resident of the Bay View Houses, created a makeshift memorial on the grounds, right where the foetuses' remains were found."I dropped the teddy bear for her, and my brother dropped the balloons because she's a baby. She's innocent," Deroche said.
