Vogue Williams issued warning by I'm A Celeb star who had to have therapy

Vogue Williams was given some words of advice by a former I'm A Celeb contestant(Image: ITV/Shutterstock)A former I'm A Celebrity star has issued a stark warning to Vogue Williams after one thing left her needing therapy.Former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts participated on the programme in 2012, and she specifically didn't tell ITV producers about her big fear of snakes. She said her fear was so bad she ended up needing hypnotherapy.Former model and podcaster Vogue took a different approach. She messaged her friends at Heart Radio to tell them about her big phobia of snakes while Vogue also mentioned it in her entrance video.Ashley, 44, suggested it was likely this tactic would come back to bite the mum-of-three and so it transpired as I'm A Celeb bosses covered her in snakes in her Bushtucker Trial.Speaking on Heart Radio with fellow presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston, they were discussing what they would be most afraid of entering the Australian jungle.Ashley Roberts starred on I'm A Celeb in 2012(Image: PA)Ashley said: "Before Vogue Williams went in, she sent us a voice note of what her biggest fear was. She then said the same in her first episode."The clip featured Dublin-born star Vogue saying: "I really don't want a snake in my knickers. Is that unreasonable? The reason I'm doing it is for my kids. They'll love seeing me thrown into a pit of snakes."Amanda went on to say: "That's the worst thing you can do, you don't fess up to what you're scared of."Ashley, speaking from experience on the show where she finished runner-up behind former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks, agreed. She said: "Exactly. I was so scared of snakes I actually got hypnotherapy for me, didn't tell a single soul. I did not, and when I had a bet or something it was rats and not snakes. 'Yes, I've won.'"Of course now we know that her biggest fear is snakes so guess what she got in her challenge. Poor thing, she was mortified."Vogue and Tom Read Wilson endured a horrific Bushtucker Trial(Image: James Gourley/ITV/Shutterstock)Vogue, who is married to reality TV star Spencer Matthews, was stunned when she and TV personality Tom Read Wilson were locked in claustrophobic tents and covered in snakes.Presenter Declan Donnelly cheerfully reminded them: “You’ve got eight minutes left!”Vogue, trying to stay calm, replies: “That’s great news. Thanks for telling me that.”Things take a turn when Ant casually drops the bombshell: “So, in each of your tents, there are 15 snakes.” Dec mutters: “Oh God… I don’t think they needed to know that.”Before entering the jungle, she had told her friends on Heart Radio: "Hello Jamie and Amanda, I am officially heading into the jungle, I'm hoping not to come across too many snakes."Jamie Theakston for his part said his biggest fear would be making small talk with the other contestants on day one before getting to know them properly. He said: "I'd be terrified. Everything else, after that I'd be absolutely fine. That fills me with absolute dread."Catch I'm A Celeb tonight (Monday, November 24) at 9pm on ITV.
