Rapper 'kidnapped fan at gunpoint after trying to take a selfie'

A French rapper has been charged for allegedly kidnapping a teenage fan at gunpoint and burning his clothes after he tried to take a selfie with him. Zola, whose real name is Aurélien N'zuzi Zola, is accused of holding the 19-year-old in the basement of his home for two hours where he was forced to undress, beaten, and had a handgun put in his mouth. According to Le Parisien newspaper, the teenager and two of his friends had gone to the rapper's home in Le Pin, Seine-et-Marne, on November 6 to ask to have a picture taken. Zola allegedly came outside with eight masked men and chased after the trio. Two of the fans managed to flee, but the teen was allegedly caught and dragged back to the star's home. The rapper is currently being held in pre-trial detention with three others, aged 25 and 26. The charges include unauthorised possession of a weapon, property damage, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and theft.Prosecutor Jean-Baptiste Bladier said yesterday: 'During the two hours that followed, both inside and outside the said home, the victim was subjected to numerous acts of violence in the form of punches, kicks, insults and verbal threats.'Having been forced to undress, his clothes were set on fire.
