While the US was a whole new world for Harry, for Los Angeles native Meghan, the transition came a lot easier. While the couple have made their own life in America, one royal expert has criticised the couple’s frantic professional life and new Hollywood status in a blistering comment.READ MORE: Meghan Markle 'hit by major Netflix snub' in fresh blow after downgraded dealREAD MORE: Andrew 'abandoned' by Sarah Ferguson with major similarity to Harry and MeghanA royal expert has savaged Harry and Meghan's business decisions in the USTina Brown, who was also a friend of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana, told the New York Times: “I have never seen anybody in professional life make as many mistakes as Meghan has. And unfortunately, Harry is not the brightest bulb, either.“So he thought that Meghan would be his great sort of guide in the big, wide world beyond Buckingham Palace, as it were. And it turns out that Meghan makes one terrible professional decision after another.”She went on to say: “And now they are sort of pariahs everywhere, it seems, which is a very difficult situation for them because America was supposed to be the place which paid the bills.”Since moving to America, Meghan has taken on a series of different business ventures. She has launched her lifestyle brand As Ever, starred in two seasons of her Netflix programme With Love, Meghan, and launched a podcast which is currently on indefinite hiatus.Tina Brown believes Prince Harry is "not the brightest bulb"(Image: BACKGRID)Harry, however, has lived a quieter life. He has had a few projects with Netflix, which largely failed to be a hit with audiences, and has largely stuck to his charitable ventures. The couple have made a few joint outings in recent years, and were recently spotted at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party in LA, with their appearance at the celebrity bash - which coincided with Remembrance Sunday - causing a stir online. Some royal commentators were furious that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be photographed flagrantly partying ahead of such a sombre day in the royal calendar, while others believed the self-exiled royal couple should be able to live their Hollywood lives as they choose.Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the Mirror that as the couple marked the sombre day online with their own tributes to the war dead, the Sussexes should be free to spend their time however they like. She said: “Well, I’m not sure they need to hide away because of Remembrance Day. After all, Harry paid his own tribute during his trip to Canada. And he was wearing his poppy at the party, so he wasn’t ignoring the date. It was perhaps just an unfortunate diary clash, but they have chosen the celebrity LA life now, so they might as well live it and own up to it.”Get the inside scoop on the monarchy with Mirror RoyalWHATSAPP GROUP: Be first to get the biggest royal bombshells and exclusives to your phone by joining our Royal WhatsApp here.We also treat our community members to special offers, promotions, and adverts from us and our partners.
