Ex-lover of Robbie Lawlor released without charge in organised crime probe

Robbie Lawlor’s ex-lover, who was arrested by gardai probing alleged organised crime offences, has been released without charge.The woman, who works in the legal profession, was detained by cops on Wednesday morning. During the high-profile operation, gardai also arrested a man who was suspected of directing the Dublin gang boss’s criminal activities before hitman Lawlor was assassinated in Belfast in April 2020.He has also been released without charge. Gardai will now prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions. As part of the same probe, notorious gang boss Mr Big was also lifted. Dublin Live understands he can be held for up to a week.In a statement, Gardai said: “Two individuals who were arrested in relation to alleged organised crime offences have been released without charged.
