August Bank Holiday opening hours for Aldi, Lidl, Dunnes and more
The August Bank Holiday weekend is upon us — and it’s the final one of the summer!
The weather forecast for the coming days isn’t looking too hopeful, with current weather models suggesting very strong winds sweeping across the country.
The three-day weekend will likely impact some shop opening hours.

ALDI
Aldi stores across Ireland will open from 9am to 9pm on Sunday, August 3 as well as Bank Holiday Monday (August 4).
General opening times differ depending on the store, with customers advised to check online for their local Aldi stores’ opening hours.

TESCO
Similar to Aldi, Tesco opening times vary from shop to shop, though it appears many shops will closer earlier on Bank Holiday Monday. Generally Tesco doesn’t close until 10pm, whereas on Monday they will close at 8pm.

LIDL
While Lidl’s opening hours vary depending on the store location, the most common opening hours appear to be 8am to 10pm.
Times will vary on Sunday, August 3 with the store opened from 9am to 9pm. The same time applies for Bank Holiday Monday.
