‘BUYING PUTIN’S OIL? MIND-BOGGLING!’: Canada’s Doug Ford Mocks ‘Terrible’ Trump In Fiery Speech

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has sharply criticised US President Donald Trump over his administration's actions against Canada, saying Canadian businesses are bearing the consequences. Speaking in Toronto, Ford accused Trump of attacking one of America's closest allies and largest customers. He also questioned Trump's reported move to purchase Russian oil, calling it mind-boggling, and argued that the US president's actions had helped unite Canadians. Ford stressed that Canada must diversify its economic relationships while recognising the importance of its longstanding ties with the United States.
