‘READY FOR WAR, TARGETS SELECTED’: IRGC Set To Strike U.S., Israel First? Alert In Tel Aviv
Iran says it has already identified potential retaliation targets if the United States or Israel launches another attack, warning that a renewed confrontation could bring a significantly different response.
Iranian Defence Ministry spokesperson Reza Talaei-Nik said the Armed Forces have prepared targets for retaliation and warned that another attack would face a “decisive response,” with Tehran claiming its adversaries could suffer heavier losses than before. The IRGC has separately warned that another conflict could change both the “weaponry and geography” of the fighting, including weapons and targets not used previously.
Israel, meanwhile, says it has strengthened its defensive capabilities, including upgrades to its Arrow missile-defence system. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also issued a broader warning to Israel’s enemies, saying Israel would respond with “tremendous force” to attacks and declaring: “Do not mess with us.” Both sides are therefore publicly signalling preparations for another potential confrontation before one begins.
