LEAKED AUDIO! Ken Paxton Thrashes Trump For ‘DRAGGING US DOWN’ Amid Heated James Talarico Contest

A leaked recording has exposed an uncomfortable private assessment from Texas Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton as his race against Democrat James Talarico intensifies. Asked at a Washington fundraiser whether Donald Trump was becoming “a little bit of a drag,” Paxton replied that after Trump’s midterm convention in Dallas, “it dropped our numbers. Everybody’s numbers dropped. Right now, yeah, not good.” The audio was first reported by The New York Times and has since been confirmed in other coverage.
