Two helicopters collide while tackling wildfires

Two ‌firefighting helicopters have collided ​while tackling ​wildfires in a region ‌west of ​Athens.

A ⁠search ⁠and rescue operation is under way in ⁠the Psatha ​area, according to Greece's ​fire ​department.

The crew members of one of the helicopters involved in the crash have been found and are "safe", a government official has told news agency Reuters.

They added that the other helicopter has been located but a search-and-rescue operation is under way to find those who were on board the aircraft.
