US GULF BASES Hit: Al-Udeid Targeted, IRGC Says U.S. Navy Hub Destroyed | Times Now World
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it fired warning shots at a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, disabled a second ship and carried out strikes on U.S.-linked military facilities in Jordan, Qatar and Oman. The group said command-and-control centers and MQ-9 drone hangars at Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base, facilities at Qatar's Al-Udeid Air Base, and U.S. Navy logistics and aircraft-carrier refueling infrastructure at Oman's Duqm port were targeted. Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it completed a third round of strikes against Iran on July 11, hitting around 140 military targets, including missile sites, drone facilities, naval assets and communications networks. The developments mark a sharp escalation in tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy transit route.
