Southeast Asia’s swimming-pool equipment sector is being shaped by tourism recovery, hotel construction, urban development, and investment in residential and mixed-use properties. Pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, water-treatment equipment, and automation systems are becoming increasingly important as hotels, resorts, condominiums, and other developments incorporate swimming pools as recreational and hospitality amenities.
The Southeast Asia swimming pool equipment market report estimates that the sector was valued at around USD 110 million in 2025 and is projected to grow from USD 119.35 million in 2026 to USD 194.72 million by 2032, representing a CAGR of 8.5% during 2026–2032. Pumps accounted for approximately 27% of demand in 2026, while hospitality represented around 48%, highlighting the importance of commercial pool infrastructure.
Tourism Expansion Supports Equipment Demand
Tourism remains a major influence on swimming-pool equipment demand across Southeast Asia. Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam are experiencing continued development of hotels, resorts, and integrated leisure facilities as international visitor numbers recover and governments maintain tourism as an important economic priority.
The report states that Southeast Asia recorded approximately 144 million international tourist arrivals in 2025, representing a 13.4% year-on-year increase. Rising visitor flows are encouraging hospitality operators to expand and modernize properties, creating demand for pool circulation, filtration, water-treatment, and control systems.
The World Tourism Organization provides broader information on tourism development and international travel trends, which are relevant to the region's continuing expansion of accommodation and leisure infrastructure.
