Di-Quan Schafar Hunt, a 32-year-old Charlotte man with about 14 prior arrests in Mecklenburg County (including multiple for assault on a female, domestic violence, and weapons charges), was arrested on August 6, 2026, after posting social media videos of himself randomly punching and chasing women on local sidewalks. This is a choice. We should not have these people on our streets. It's not kind to anyone.
