Women’s fashion brand to open its doors in Bath this weekend
Nobody’s Child has said it is “delighted” to announce the opening of its new store in Bath's SouthGate on Saturday, August 8.
The 1,500 square foot space will be the brand’s eleventh standalone boutique and fourth opening in 2026.
A spokesperson for the business has said the store environment has been mindfully designed to feel both timeless and welcoming, featuring reclaimed and vintage furniture and fittings, carefully curated by the brand’s in-house team.
Jody Plows, chief executive of Nobody’s Child, shared her excitement about the expansion: “Bath has always felt like a natural home for Nobody's Child.
“It's a city that values craftsmanship, creativity and considered style, qualities that feel closely aligned with our own approach to design.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors here and welcome customers into the space and explore the collections up close, feel the quality of each piece and find styles made to be worn and loved season after season.”
Guy Henderson, centre director at SouthGate Bath, added: “We know there’s been lots of anticipation around the opening of Nobody’s Child and we’re so pleased to be welcoming such a popular retailer to our line-up of leading fashion brands.
“We’re confident it will be a great addition for our shoppers and, with some great opening day offers too, we’re looking forward to seeing visitors explore everything the new store has to offer.”

To celebrate the opening, Nobody’s Child is set to host a special in-store launch event on Saturday, with gifts from two independent Bath businesses.
Customers who make a purchase on the day will receive a complimentary cookie dough brownie from The Good Day Cafe, while the first 50 customers to spend £50 or more will also receive a complimentary mini bunch of flowers from Nice Bunch, while stocks last.
The Bath store opening adds to Nobody’s Child’s growing retail presence, joining its London stores in Carnaby Street, Spitalfields, its flagship boutique in Covent Garden and stores in Bluewater, Brighton, Cambridge, Harrogate, Leeds, St Albans and Windsor.
Alongside its rapid expansion, it also proves popular with high-profile fashion figures. In the spring, Louise Thompson of Made in Chelsea fame launched her own range in collaboration with the brand.
According to the Daily Mail, the 5ft 1in Louise wanted to create something for petite women who can feel confident without having to buy children's clothes or “spend too much on tailoring”.
The opening of the branch brings yet another exciting business to Bath’s SouthGate, which memorably saw the opening of a huge new M&S open in January of this year.
