Kill The Shadow Is A 2.5D Detective Game Kill the Shadow Desk

Kill The Shadow is a brand-new game that melds Blade Runner with Disco Elysium, and it's out now. While it certainly blends some recognizable games, it also has a look of its own, utilizing 3D and 2D environments in tandem in a unique original style.

The concept sounds simple on paper, but there's a lot going on at once: "Kill the Shadow is a detective game with multiple endings, featuring 2.5D pixel art and semi-open exploration and investigation. Play as Lucas, a former police officer, alongside a mysterious Shadow who can see the “past.” Remember—every choice you make will change the fate of countless characters."

Throughout the game you'll explore and build your character, with strength, spirit, charm, and bribery on the table. Tons of named NPCs complicate the story, while a creature called "The Shadow" allows you to relive memories of other people and learn how people died.
