How I’d build a zero tariff North American economy, eliminate trade barriers between the United States, Canada, and Mexico, then use each country’s strengths to make the continent more competitive, self sufficient, and secure. Canada brings energy and critical resources, Mexico brings agricultural strength, and the United States brings scale and capital. I believe economic necessity will eventually force North America toward this model, lowering costs, strengthening defense, and positioning us to compete more effectively with China.
