Manchester United could complete THREE signings this weekend as transfer plans heat up
Manchester United are close to completing the signings of goalkeeper Karl Darlow and midfielder Andrey Santos, while Ederson is continuing to undergo a detailed medical ahead of completing his own move from Atalanta.Darlow is set to sign on a free transfer after leaving Leeds United at the end of his contract last month. Radek Vitek will also depart to play first-team football and United could cash in on the 22-year-old after his excellent loan spell at Bristol City.A £50million deal was agreed with Chelsea earlier this week for Santos, 22, and he has been undergoing medical tests. The Brazilian midfielder is set to complete his move to the club on a five-year deal imminently.While Darlow and Santos could complete their moves as early as today, there is also progress over Ederson, with United deciding to conduct a more detailed medical assessment on the midfielder.Some initial tests were carried out during the World Cup, but after Brazil were knocked out, the 27-year-old has travelled to Manchester to complete his move. Despite reports that the deal could collapse, it currently remains on track ahead of completion of the final part of his medical.United have already agreed a £35million fee with Atalanta to sign Ederson, with a further £3.8million in add-ons. Personal terms over a four-year deal with a one-year option have also been agreed.
