Martin Lewis' MSE urges travellers to claim back £100
Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert has urged people to take advantage of a £100 bonus reward that could come in handy this summer. According to the MSE gurus, if you’re booking a hotel, it’s worth comparing prices with Hotels.com. This is because its updated loyalty programme now allows people to earn £100 back after completing 10 nights’ stays. This can be a valuable perk, particularly if you regularly book more affordable hotels, it says. MSE adds: "There's no point going for a £100 reward if you could save more than that booking elsewhere". However, if you could benefit, it may be a no-brainer. How to get the £100 Hotels.com reward Explaining how the scheme works and how you can make the most of the rewards, Hotel.com notes that each stay must meet an eligibility criterion. It explains that Hotels.com Rewards is free to join, and members can earn £100 in Hotels.comCash - the platform’s rewards currency - after completing 10 qualifying nights. Each £1 of Hotels.com Cash is worth £1 and can be redeemed at eligible hotels whenever you choose, either in full or in smaller amounts, with no blackout dates. To qualify for the reward, the average nightly price of your booking must be £75 or more, including taxes and fees. Any nights paid for using Hotels.comCash or vouchers are not included when calculating eligibility. After staying your 10th night, travellers will receive your £100 Hotels.comCash reward in their account. But don't worry, people don't need to book them all at once as to get to 10 nights, you can also book and collect them trip by trip.

What is Hotels.comCash? It explains: "Hotels.comCash is our rewards currency. After you stay 10 eligible nights, you receive a £100 reward in the form of Hotels.comCash. "OneKeyCash earned on other participating brands may be eligible for use and will show in your shared account as Hotels.comCash if so. "Sometimes you may qualify for extra Hotels.comCash from an eligible offer or promotion on top of what you normally earn. This extra earn won’t appear while you’re shopping or at checkout, but as long as you meet the offer conditions, it will be added automatically as pending Hotels.comCash after your booking and unlock according to the terms and conditions of your offer once you’ve completed your stay. "These promotional rewards follow the same basic rules as your other Hotels.comCash but may have different expiry dates, so make sure you check the specific offer terms for details." When does Hotels.comCash expire? Pending Hotels.comCash and qualifying nights will remain valid as long as you make an eligible booking or redeem Hotels.comCash at least once every 12 months. Any available Hotels.comCash in your account will also remain active, provided you make an eligible booking or redeem Hotels.comCash at least once every 18 months. Travellers should note that promotional Hotels.comCash may have different expiry rules. Hotels.com urges people to therefore always check the specific terms and conditions of each offer for full details. You can read more about the rewards and how to claim here.
