Emirates announces new daily flights to dream holiday destination
The world’s largest international airline has announced new daily flights to a popular Southeast Asian destination.
Emirates is introducing a third daily flight to Phuket in Thailand from Dubai International Airport.
It means that the DXB-based airline will now fly 21 times per week between the UAE and the Thailand’s largest island.
Emirates now serves Phuket with 21 weekly services operated by a mix of Boeing 777s and Airbus A350s.
The new flight, EK390, departs Dubai at 10.40pm, arriving in Phuket at 8.10am the following day. The return flight, EK391, departs Phuket at 10am and arrives in Dubai at 1.05pm. All times listed are local.
For the uninitiated, Phuket is home to rich cultural sites, a vibrant nightlife scene and is a great island-hopping destination.

Travellers will benefit from greater flexibility with additional travel options to the popular resort destination, including an early morning arrival that is ideal for customers connecting via Dubai from European cities including Manchester, Amsterdam, London, Paris and Frankfurt, as well as from Kuwait and Bahrain.
The new flight will also provide convenient onward connections from Phuket to key destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including Madrid, Munich, Birmingham, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Edinburgh, Zurich and Amman.
It will also see Emirates introduce its Premium Economy offering to Phuket with its A350-900 aircraft.
The new daily service offers passengers 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats.
In addition to Emirates’ signature next-generation products and award-winning service, customers can enjoy innovative onboard features including wireless charging in business class, electronically controlled window blinds featuring an Emirates Ghaf tree motif when closed in the premium cabins, digital in-flight menus on ice screens, and more.
Dubai travellers now have even more options when flying to Thailand, with flydubai also launching new routes to the Southeast Asian nation earlier in July.
