Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding invitations reportedly included NDAs, ahead of the couple’s rumoured nuptials at Madison Square Garden.
A spokesperson later said that his comment was only based on a TMZ report, which claimed that a permit had been requested for NYC’s Madison Square Garden for the July 4 weekend.
Then, last week NBC News cited a source who said the 19,500-capacity arena was preparing for a major event that same weekend.
The source in question, who is said to be among the invitees, told the outlet that 1,100 people were expected to attend Swift and Kelce’s wedding ceremony at MSG this Friday (July 3).
They also claimed that invitees had been sent non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) along with electronic invitations. The source added that the ceremony would include various live performances from several artists.
This follows reports that Stevie Nicks will be taking to the stage at the high-profile wedding. Swift was recently spotted celebrating the New York Knicks’ NBA championship victory with the Haim sisters, notably while wearing a shirt that read “Stevie Knicks”. Many have taken this as an Easter egg about her upcoming nuptials.

According to TMZ, every wedding invitation has been individually watermarked with the guest’s first and last name repeated throughout – so if the invite leaked online, Swift and Kelce would know who was responsible.
A source told the publication that the invitations had been sent out around April. They said the document did not disclose a location for the wedding, nor was there any mention of Madison Square Garden on it.
The spokesperson who confirmed that someone had applied for a permit at MSG said it requested a crowd size between 500 and 999 people. The permit also asked for a tent and street closures around the venue.
However, the Mamdani administration declined to say who had made the filing. It has been reported that multiple Kansas City Chiefs players have booked hotel rooms in Manhattan for this weekend.
Earlier this year, Graham Norton said he had “signed so many NDAs” after being invited to Swift’s wedding. He made the comment on his podcast Wanging On, but later clarified that this was “a joke”.
“I said, ‘Oh I’ve signed all these NDAs’, and then it started getting reported as a serious thing in America,” Norton explained (via The Independent). “I didn’t say cut that out because I thought it was so obviously a joke.”
Swift had asked the host to attend the ceremony when she made an appearance on his BBC One chat show last autumn to promote her latest album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’. That interview led to Norton bagging a cameo in the video for the single ‘Opalite’. The visuals also starred Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lewis Capaldi and Cillian Murphy – all of whom featured on the same episode of The Graham Norton Show as Swift.
Last September, Foreigner offered their services as the potential wedding band for Swift and Kelce, with Mark Ronson later saying he was “keeping the year open” in the hope of DJing at the event.
Swift herself has hinted that her good friend and former collaborator Ed Sheeran may perform at her wedding, too.
In other news, Swift has revealed that she wrote and recorded her new theme for Toy Story 5 in just eight hours, calling it a “hectic day”. The nostalgic song, titled ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’, soundtracks the closing credits of the Pixar sequel.
