Death Notice of Ita Carroll (Riverstown, Sligo)
Carroll- Ita, Lisurlar, Riverstown, Co. Sligo and formerly of Tullynascreena, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and Salthill Galway, June 26th 2026, after a short illness, peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Bridget, her sisters Mary Ellen, Phyllis, Kathleen and Christina. Sadly missed by her brothers Michael Patrick (Margaret), John (Kathleen), Lily, Teresa, Josephine (John), Patsy (Terry), Winnie (Eamonn) and brother-in-law Eddie. Always in the hearts of her forty four nieces and nephews and her many grandnieces and grandnephews who she loved dearly, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Ita will repose at Fowley's Funeral Home, Dromahair (F91 VC52) on Sunday 28th June from 4pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Mary's Church Killenummery (F91 AW52) arriving at 7:30pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday 29th at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Carrowcrin cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice and Cancer Care West.
