Death Notice of Shane Bracken (Nenagh, Tipperary)

Shane Bracken Belmont Nenagh, Co. Tipperary & late of Dalysfort Road Salthill Co.Galway.   Shane died peacefully at home, on 18th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness fought with courage and dignity. He is predeceased by his cherished parents Annie (née Shine) & John Bracken.   Loved completely by Barbara, his wife. & beloved daughters Jenny, Carolyn, Ailish & Niamh, adored grandchildren Joanne, Shane Óg, Jamie, Aylin & Bobbie. His brothers & sisters Ailish (Sr. Angela), Mary, Donal & Anthony. Sons in law Brian, Damien, David & James. Sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, his loyal canine companions Dixie & Kerry, extended family, neighbours and his many friends particularly those from his spiritual home, Conamara.   Codladh Sámh Shane __________________________________   Reposing in Ryans funeral home Nenagh (E45 KN93) on Monday (22nd June) from 5pm to 7pm. They invite you to join them as they walk from the post office on Ashe Road, via Pearse, Mitchell and Sarsfield Street to his beloved Dapp Inn and then continuing on to Shannon.     The Bracken family would like to express their sincere thanks to Professor Ravi and his team at St James Hospital, the oncology team at University Hospital Limerick, all at Milford Hospice, Dr Paul O'Farrell & Joan, the Community Intervention Team and Public Health Nurses and everyone who cared for Shane with such kindness and support.
