WATCH: Royal Family Bring Trooping the Colour to a Close at Buckingham Palace
The royal family return along The Mall to Buckingham Palace after taking part in the King’s official birthday celebrations in central London.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis appeared visibly excited as they watched the traditional RAF flypast from the Buckingham Palace balcony following Trooping the Colour 2026.
The young royals chatted with their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and craned their necks to watch the aircraft pass overhead. Prince Louis was seen speaking to Prince William following one of the flypast formations.
King Charles and Queen Camilla led members of the Royal Family onto the balcony, where they waved to cheering crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace. The Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke of Kent, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester also joined the balcony appearance.
The flypast brought the King’s official birthday celebrations to a close, although chants of “not my King” could also be heard from anti-monarchy protesters gathered among the crowds.
