‘The difference’ – Joe Rogan reveals major ‘issue’ with Alex Pereira’s insane HW transformation for UFC White House

Welcoming the Brazilian to the 265lbs division will be two-time undisputed title challenger Ciryl Gane.
Pereira has been putting in the work with his diet and weightlifting regimen over the last few months and has put on a considerable amount of size.
He’s been walking around north of 250lbs ahead of his South Lawn slugfest with Gane.
But Rogan believes the fan favourite may be coming in to the fight too heavy.
During a recent episode of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he said of Pereira: “He’s 250 (pounds) now, which is crazy.
“That’s almost 70 pounds different from his UFC debut.
“(He won’t have to cut weight) but he also put on muscle, and there’s an issue with that.”
Rogan has no doubt in his mind that Pereira’s terrifying knockout power will carry over to heavyweight.

But he believes potentially long and gruelling grappling exchanges could nullify his great equaliser.
The veteran UFC commentator added: “The difference in MMA is with grappling. The difference is with weight.
“If you get a big, heavy guy and he gets on top of you, all your speed is gone within the first three or four minutes.”
MMA fans around the world have been wondering how heavy he’ll be when he tips the scales on Saturday evening.
And the former middle and light-heavyweight champion answered the burning question in an interview with Paramount+.
