GAA on TV this weekend as four teams face elimination from the Sam Maguire Cup

Following last weekend's conclusion of the provincial hurling Championships, attention this weekend turns entirely to the football action.Four sides will be knocked out of the Sam Maguire Cup this weekend, with reigning champions Kerry amongst those in danger of elimination.Their fixture against Kildare is, however, one of three Championship matches not being shown live this weekend.Only five fixtures will be available to watch or stream, with highlights of all matches featured on the Saturday and Sunday Game.The weekend's opening live fixture is the Round 2B encounter between Monaghan and Roscommon in Clones at 4.30pm.The Farney are still reeling from Bobby McCaul's second consecutive ACL injury and they welcome the Connacht champions with the defeated side facing an early Championship departure.Derry and Meath find themselves in identical circumstances and they meet in a must-win Championship encounter at Find Insurance Celtic Park at 7pm. Both Saturday fixtures will be broadcast live and exclusively on GAA Plus.Two Tailteann Cup quarter-finals will also receive GAA Plus coverage.
