Lowestoft man Stephen Crush charged with murder of wife
Stephen Crush, 65, is alleged to have killed Sarah Crush after an incident in their home in Victoria Road in Lowestoft on September 9, 2019.
On arrival at the premises, officers discovered Mrs Crush, who had suffered a serious head injury and was 39 at the time.

She was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via air ambulance for treatment.
Due to her injuries, Mrs Crush required 24-hour care until she died on December 21, 2025, at the age of 45.
In 2020, Crush was jailed for 13 and a half years after he pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
At the time, Ipswich Crown Court heard that Crush struck his wife "at least three times" in the head with a lump hammer following an argument at their home.
The court also heard the couple's nine-year-old son was upstairs during the attack.
Mrs Crush's death last year led to a fresh murder charge against her husband.
At an inquest earlier this year Suffolk Constabulary Detective Chief Inspector Matt Adams said that injuries to Mrs Crush's skull had left her unable to walk, talk or look after herself.

She was also left blind in one eye and deaf in one ear from the incident and was unable to swallow, only communicating through a letter board.
At the inquest opening, it was heard the 45-year-old was being looked after at St Andrew's in Northampton after being admitted following her treatment at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The court heard that Mrs Crush was diagnosed with cancer in April 2025 and was placed on palliative care, as she was unable to undergo surgery.
The provisional cause of death has been given as respiratory failure and traumatic brain injury.
Nigel Parsley, senior coroner for Suffolk, opened the inquest into her death on Friday, January 23 and adjourned it until a later date with further work to be undertaken
Crush appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody pending an appearance before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday 9 June.
